Overview
The Mechanical sub-team is responsible for the physical construction of the robot. This involves everything from conceptual design to final assembly. We use standard tools and techniques to ensure our robots are robust, reliable, and competitive.
Our process begins with brainstorming and strategy analysis, followed by detailed Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Once the design is finalized, we move to fabrication, utilizing CNC machinery, 3D printing, and traditional shop tools to bring our parts into the world.
Drivetrains
We design and build various drivetrains, including Swerve Drive, optimized for speed, agility, and traction on the competition field.
Manipulators
Custom mechanisms for game objectives, such as intakes, shooters, climbers, and arms.
